is that a good price ???

 

is it piping and a filter or just the cone filter...if its just the filter i'd say you're paying too much..plus the install is pretty simple so you could save on some labor if you did it yourself

 

I think the obx can be found on ebay for like $60-$70 and install of an intake on a max is incredibly easy...

 

but obx compared to jwt or stillen / K&N . Are they all more or less the same /

 

the OBX are small compared to the JWT/Stillen filter.. plus filtering efficiency is iffy with the OBX. you get what you pay for!

 

my friend has an OBX on his Mitsu GST, he got it for $30-40 and we put it on in 15mintues!!! (would've been less but Eclipse engine bays are WAY TOO CRAMPED!!!) put it on for your self its not worth $100 at all, plus its incredibly easy and theres nothing you can f'up!!!

 

the filter and the adap. run for about $75 and its easy to put on. the obx with the center filter is the loudest i heard. it work just as good as the others.

 

Oh sir, you have been fooled. It should only cost about $45-60 & do the install yourself. It's big & it's loud & I have not had any problems. No lie, but your initial embarrassment for purchasing an OBX intake will be outweighed by all of that leftover change in your pocket.
