Attaching aftermarket fogs?

What's the best way to attach aftermarket fogs? I am putting them below the grille, because I don't want to cut apart my bumper, but I can't figure out a good way to secure them. I can't really drill into the metal bumper...

Any help is much appreciated!!

Thanks,

Doug

hmmm...

I am very afraid to use double-sided tape. Are there any other options?

I'm doing the same thing. I'm not sure where you attach that c-clamp.

On my '95, I mounted them (with bolts) on the opening ends on each corner on the bottom part (in the center portion) of the grill. I bolted them on the "side-separator" (sorry, I don't any other word to explain this). I used the round-type aftermarket fogs. But, since I wrecked the car last year, the body shop mounted them from underneath since they had the bumper of the car. But, for the most part, buy the round type and drill a hole (for the mounting bolt) into the side-seperator and you'll be fine.

It takes a lot of courage, but just remove the backing, stick it on and run like hell. Once it's attached, it doesn't seem so scary anymore. It's like turning off your night light for the first time.

as long as you prep the surface and use really good tape like 3m it will last
use some kind of clamp if you can just for added security and watch for people who like to jack fogs

What did you bolt them into? I can't drill holes into the metal bumper...

I just put my front end up on some ramps crawled under and drilled a hole for each one into the metal part of the bumper from underneath.

Not that hard if you have a strong drill. Preferably corded.
