Mummify my y-pipe this weekend

The fiber glass was all over the place...glad that Y2kevse warned me to wear long sleeves, pants and gloves before I wrap the pipe. But I didnt wear a mask and I was sneezing really bad while doing this in garage. After warpping it for 30 minutes, I felt like I just smoke half a pack of cigarettes and I had a hard time breathing.

I would highly recommand to take 2 pills of Claritin before u do this

finally......

I assumed you were going to do this in a well ventilated area. Sorry.

my reason is to have a stable EGT reading....cold air, water, etc will affect the reading. Credit : Y2kevse

thx! I bought it from a local auto store....just ask for exhaust wrap. I think any brand will do and I bought the 2-inch in width.

Would wrapping a test pipe eliminate the noise? Or not?

Interesting cr-ap. I have my Y-pipe, but it isn't installed yet. I have access to fiberglass too, would it be worth the wrap? I haven't a clue how loud this thing will be, got it in trade.
