I felt like a 3 year-old in a candy factory today. As I pull into my office parking lot and what do I see before me...a gun metal Audi All-Road 2.7T. This thing is bad a$$. Everything about this car is timeless in it's design. The owner was getting in and I commented on how much I liked it. He was excited to talk about it. The motor is the 2.7T used in the S4 and A6 2.7T. The All Road was a 6 speed too. He became really excited when I told him there should be a chip available to push hp into the 320hp range. What was really cool was when the owner left the parking lot and gave me a glimpse of the adjustable ride height susupension. He went from low to full extension while rolling. It was very cool. What do those things cost? I was think about $45K atleast?

I need to go get a job with the company in the suite above us. One guy drives a blue S4, one drives a black Viper, and another drives the All Road.

me too brotha

That caught my eye a while back, think it does 5.9 0-60. I'm not sure about the reliability of the turbos though. Otherwise that'll kick most cars plus it's AWD and big. The A6 4.2 8-cyl looks much meaner but the 2.7T is probably in the price/punch sweet spot.

Yup! Was it green also? I saw one at the auto show in Seattle. Very cool but yes pricey. I think your correct about the price. I seem to remember about $45k also. I'm really suprised they used the "S" engine but pleasently suprised though. I really like the aluminum accents too.

I just checked KBB.com and got the stats on the car. It looks like it will cost ~$44-46K for a fairly optioned out All-Road with the 6 speed. They've got some sweet pics on the site. One pic shows the All-Road on some meaty rocks with it's suspension at near full travel and extension. The All-Road weighs in at ~4100 lbs. It has 250hp and 260 ft/lbs of torque. With a chip and a couple other tweaks you'll be looking at 300-330 hp which gives you a power to weight ratio of a LT1 Camaro/Trans Am or low 14s at 100mph or so. That would be plenty fast for me plus you'll out launch people on the street.

I'll just have to wait a year or two and see what kind of resale we're looking at or until I get a REALLY big raise.

Yeah baby, why do we need SUV's when there are wagons out there like the Allroad? Gotta love that 2.7tt engine.

Yeah, those Audi's with the 2.7T are bada$$. Plus, they are not crazy expensive. Good candidate for a next car

Why buy an auto? 6-speed is so much more fun!

depends on the car.
for a sports car yes it should definitely be manual.
but for a SUV(hauling stuff and fighting snow storm), auto is more suitable.
