Sounds great, not loud at all but way less restricting. Put a dtm tip on it and it looks good and sounds great! Forget thos obnoxios sounding glasspack buzzcans.

What series did you get? I got my flowmaster on a few months back and it really sounds good, specially around 3200. Now she really growls. Flowmasters rock!

I think its the 40 series

Yea it growls nice, really deep rumbling tone. Sounds amost like a v8 at idle. When you really open it up still sounds smooth, not raspy like a chain saw with no muffler. With my intake and that I do feel a little more pull. Next step is a y-pipe and make my own CAI. I've only had the car for a few months, 92 se dohc24v. I've wanted one of these forever.

So is the 40 series the one to go with? Another member posted earlier about how there really wasn't a good flowmaster for us, but I'm happy to hear that it works well for you guys.

I have a flowmaster muffler on my car too and I think it doesn't really sound that great. I'm actually thinking of going back to stock. It's really loud on the highway though. Just my .02

does it only growl above 3000 rpm? does it growl under normal driving like 1000-2000??

Yeah when driving around 25-35 mph, just cruising, it sounds sweet. A real mellow low tone. I love it.

Any drone zone when adding the flowmaster to the Max? I have them on my Stang and it will give some people headaches.
