My ECU gave me 05 05, and it means "No Failure Recorded/Detected" What is this supposed to mean? What have i done to my car to merit its spite (making me go out there and fiddle with it in the dark b/c i have no flashlight)?

Umm thats not spite. Thats your car telling you "I'm great, please drive me like a Maxima should be driven." If your CEL light was on, and you diagnosed/reset it, it means the problem went away by itself (sometimes happens due to small piece of grit on O2 sensor, weak connection restored etc etc). After a number of "problem free" startups the CEL would have reset itself. In either case, your good to go!

I wanted a knock sensor code when I checked mine yesterday. I got 0505 though. My gtech times aren't what they should be and I was hoping I just needed a new knock sensor like everyone else around here. I think I just need to work on the launch though.
