please advise! 225/60/16 too big?

Anyone running them on their 3rd gen.? Do they fit? What are your thoughts?
I have a chance to buy a set of Goodyear RS-A's for cheap but have to respond by tomorrow night. I have 225/50/16's now and think they look too small and don't want to drop the suspension. I like the clearance. But it's almost a 2" difference. !! Any thoughts or recommendations are appreciated. RZ

thanks. don't want any rubbing anywhere. seems like some of the newer model owners have been using them. maybe the wheelwell or suspension set-up is different.

doesn't matter...the total diameter is still about the same as OEM...60's throw it all off

Dunno about 16's but a 225/60-15 was a freaking bus tire on my car. 225/50 is much better.

Okay, I'm going to pass on the deal. If anyone can use a set of Goodyear RS-A's, with 9/32 tread, 225/60/16, for $85+ shipping (!!!!)let me know by tonight.
Off to work. RZ

225's are to wide in the rear for 3rd gens unless you put a spacer in there. Stick to 215's. theres not that much of a difference.
