Dropped my max off this morning to a nissan dealership for the 30K service. I'm switching the oil and tranny fluid to synthetic, yay! I don't care if I notice anything from the change, I'm just looking to get a longer life out the engine.

Anyway, me and the assistant service manager were talking about the switch to synthetic and he said it's a good idea, but I can't believe what he said next, "the most important thing to remember though is that you need to get the oil changed every 3K".

I could have sworn I saw his nose grow just a bit
