I think WW is the whole bumper

listen for the cost of having another cars bumper fabed onto your car by the stillen lip and an OEM bumper, I just bought a front and back, their 250 each

OK. I wasn't going to get involved with this thread, however I think some guys who're more into cosmetics can benefit from what I have to say.

As some of you have seen I rant about my Stanza quite a bit. Once again I have to state how similar the Maxima is to the Stanza, body wise, electric wise, and suspension wise.

Can you fit another car's body kit onto the Maxima? Yes, It's possible. The Stanza is a smaller Maxima. The 90-93 Honda Accord bumpers will fit onto a Stanza if it is shortened ABOUT 2 inches lengthwise. What does this mean for the WIDER Maxima? It means the 90-93 Accord bumpers will probably fit directly on the Maxima.

To support what I have to say, here are some pictures of a Stanza that is going to have a 90-93 Accord Black Widow body kit fitted. As you can see, the accord bumpers are too wide for the Stanza and need to be shortened, but this is where a Maxima can benefit. It SHOULD fit onto a Maxima lengthwise without a problem.

What kind of body kits are available for the 90-93 Accords that would be beneficial to a Maxima?
The Skyline style kit.

Are there potential problems while trying to install an Accord kit onto a Maxima?
Yes. Don't attempt it if you don't have the money or skills necessary to do it properly. If you want to ghetto rig it, do it and don't let anyone know (it's embarassing to see such things). It's my opinion that you have to modify the bumper (the acutal metal beam). If you have to do this, it's best that you don't even attempt this because you will be left with a very unsafe car. If you can get around this, good for you.

Accord kits as you all know are extremely cheap, and there is a greater variety.

Don't ask me questions, I don't know the answers. Go out and test it yourselves now.

should look good if you can do it.

I already did (sort of), and he is right (about all of it). You will end up with a less than safe car. I can get those R33 skyline front ends for an Accord for a little over $100, as I posted in another thread.

Oh, and the WW kit is a lip like the Stillen, just to clear that up...

just to let you know, its not going to "fit" it will be a custom job, yes you can make it fit, but dont expect it to just bolt right up. the cars may be the same size but there different shapes. and if you go ahead and buy cheap bumper where you can almost see through the fiberglass its gonna end up costing more, so you gonna have to go into this expecting to pay some money to have it done right. and Im not knocking your idea, I just everyone who reads this thread to understand the task that this is.

Just go to a Honda dealership and measure the length between the wheel wells. If it is the right length, you could probably make it fit yourself pretty effortlessly. Don't hold me to that, though...
