VERY embarrassing, but I have to ask, PLEASE HELP!

Hey,

About a year ago I had an IS300 lexus light conversion done to the rear of my car. I had the inner trunk lenses removed, and had the little circle IS300 lights installed in it's place. The guy did a good job with making them perfectly even, he f*cked up on the paint job BIG TIME, but that's not the problem...

I left the lights uncovered in the rear, and I guess just from the elements and such they once nice and clear lenses are starting to fade and have a yellowish hue to them. Is there anyway of cleaning them on the inside to restore the clean clear shine that was once there? If I can clean them back up to perfectly clear I will then cover the base so nothing can get in (i.e. water) and fade these lenses. Thanks in advance for the replies!

Sorry, I forgot to mention a few ideas that i had...

Using a razor blade and somehow scraping the inside
Pooring in bleach to "whiten" it up
Windex?!?

Any suggestions are creatly appreciated!

Which ones are turning yellow? The outer tails or the inner circles? If the inner circles, why don't you just replace them? I doubt they're very expensive.

The inner circles are turning a yellowis-hue. They're only like 25 bucks from ebay, but then I would have to pay a bodyshop to take out my old lights and install these new ones, and then re-paint everything (which I have to have done anyway)...But I would rather just clean these than pay the extra $$$ to have the lenses taken out and replaced.

Well how do you plan to clean the inside if you can't take them out? If they screwed up your paint job and they're hard to get at I would just get a shop to put new ones in and repaint.
