The injen sensor is a circle and the stock is oval. So I had to tape the bottom and top. I put the injen sensor in the stock oval hole, thus leaving a gap at the top and bottom. Do you know what I am saying?

injen and air temp sensor
Same problem here. I have a 97, and my sensor is located in the lower portion of the black ducting just before the air box. Mine is plastic and looks like a miniture christmas lite but a little longer and fatter. It presses into a round rubber grommet in the duct. I called Alex about it and he suggested buying a grommet at home depot, which I will try ,and maybe pep boys.

INJEN INTAKE
I was told by adventon that I was the only one this had ever happened too. What BS!!I spent so much time on the phone with them. They said "this never happends". They kept on bouncing me around the frigin phone system. I wanted to talk to someone live. They were no help.
To resolve this problem I taped it up. I have been told from a few people that this should work. My car is running great. I love the intake. My gains seem modest.

You take that grommet out of the stock duct and use it on the Injen. It should say that in the instructions.

This is off the subject, but there's a guy that took his car in for smog and it failed. He say that the reason was because of the Injen CAI. Has anyone smog their car yet with the Injen intake?
Here's the the post just in case anyone wants to keep an eye on it.
