Which b-pipe
Which b-pipe
Lets start with I did a search, but need more info.
If I have a y-pipe, cat, and stock muffler will I need a b-pipe with a resonator to keep the exhaust quite? I thought that as long as I kept the stock muffler the exhaust would be quiet. Any opinions on the following.
The choices:
With resonator
Cattman stainless $325 (worth the $$$$?)
Warpspeed Alum $170 (supply issues)
Without
Stillen $don't know (Stillen got to be expensive)
Warpseed $150 (Again supply issue)
Budget about $130 USD avail in 2 weeks per Jeff
Adding a resonator:
How much to do so?
Thanks
Chris

1st. Definatly get a resonator on the b-pipe. You have the stock muffler now, but if you think there is a chance you would ever change it you'll be glad you have the resonator.
My warpspeed y,cat,b was just shipped today, after waiting a month. There is org members who waited twice that long. They seem to be catching up so don't count them out.
Cattman, stillen etc.. will be expensive. Not worth it in my opinioin. Go with Budget, Warpspeed or have a shop make you a custom one. Usually around $100-$150 for custom. It may be hard to find a shop to do a mandrel bent B-pipe but your not looking at much HP loss.

I'll have my Courtesy B-pipe for sale in about a week. I'm too lazy to take it off right now. I gotta go buy some gaskets before I put the old one back on. Anyways, it has a resonator...quiet ride, but then again I have a stock 2K muffler on too.

thanks in advance.
I had minor fitment issues with my Warpspeed B-pipe. I paid a muffler shop $60 to fix it. No big deal, I just wish I had taken it to the muffler shop before I spent most of a day screwing around with it trying to make it fit and figure out what I was doing wrong. Even with the $60 it is a lot cheaper than Cattman, stillen and courtesy.
