fitment issue with addco rear sway bar

ok - today i installed the RSB and there was a fitment issue with
those C clamps that go around the rear axle - they were plain simple too long - there was no way to tighten them up - unleas you use more washers or some kind of spacer in beetwen - does anybody else had the same problem ????? other that that imstall went smooth - took it for a spin and noticed nice tightnes in the back - felt like somebody put 200 lbs of weight in the trunk - the car was "planet to the ground " altogether kyb agx , sprints , fstb, rsb work great

I don't think you need washers or anything like that.

If it's on there and it's tight, there shouldn't be any problems.

Install is super-easy in my opinion. The first time, it took me and my brother just an hour to do it ... and that's only because we put it on upside-down the first time and realized it half-way through.

The toughest part I think is just holding the bar up. A friend to help you out is a good thing.

great write up and pics !!!!

anway - after seeing this write up i can rest in pace
I did everything right- the same way, with one exeption
those C clamps that go around rear axle were too long - so I used
spacers and work perfect !!!! really satisfied with rear of the vehicle beeing so "planet to the ground"

Either I'm missing something ...

... or you installed it without sockets (metric and deep metric) or metric combination wrenches. I can't figure out how spacers would be needed.

Same issue

Yeah, I also was installing the rsb from custommaxima.com and the c bars were way to long. So I just took everything off and emailed greg at custommaxima.com requesting that they mail me the correct parts.

Also wondering, is the bar like this: ] supposed to be very hard to fit by the brake line? I'm worried that this part may be wrong also.
Should I just stretch it out a bit and force it on with tools?

all you need for the "C" bracket is a 14mm deep socket and the nuts will go all the way up ... and the [ brackets go on a little snug, but it'll go on

Mine fits good.

And for that Front strut bar question, yes, it fits beautifully.

Cause they come with them already...only thing I did was swap stock bushings and control arm bushins to Energy Suspension polyurethane ones...just did this today.

Incorrect. I had the same problem. The threading on the C bracket ends about 1 1/2" too low so the nuts won't go all the way up. Also, the ][ brackes I got were WAY!!! too short to fit over the control arm. I called and emailed Addco for a month until they finally send me 4 new brackets that fit perfectly.

Haha, had the same problem tonight with my install. It's took a few spacers for the long U bolts and alot of "persuasion" to get the [ bolt on. Too bad I didn't see this thread before. Silly me... I thought when you bought something it should come with the correct hardware.
