I Got Hids!!!

Don (Pearl96Max) sold me his set of Hanabi 6000 kit at a supreme price and not only am i happy at the price but at the results! This kit is AMAZING!!!

the clarity on the ground is better than any light i have ever seen. There are no words for quality of this mod, just like your suspension mod, this is one mod you'll cherish as long as u have it. When first starting out, it has a little green tint to it since it has to warm up or something (like all hids) and then it turns to a brilliant white. No blue or anything to it really, just a blazing clean white which looks awesome on my car especially since i have the clear 97 head lights.

Pearl96Max, THANK U BRO! YOU HAVE DONE SO MUCH FOR ME IN SO LITTLE TIME, you are truly one of the good guys!

P.S. - how did your night go?

yea they are discontinued. he gave it to me for 280 dollars

they went for 370 brand new and he put low hours on them, i'm talking like 5-8 vs the life expectancy of 2500 hours. He has the 7000 kit now which also looks hot. He has a 96 which has the foggy headlights and his HIDS light up as bright as mine. Imagine them on a 97+. Also his lights up with a purple shade when first put on vs. mine which lights up with green.

I know there are a lot more reasons why the 7000 is better (i think longer life and direct bolt on and stuff). I honestly would have went for the 7000 but he gave me a deal NO MAN could refuse. A true friend i tell u.

Well, i'll tell u this, a 7000k kit can't be any better than a 6000k other than the fact that there is probably MORE BLUE COLOR output
as opposed to 6000k. So it may look cooler, but he's probably actually losing some lumens just because there is more color to it. Some people don't care just cuz its STILL BRIGHT despite the loss of a few hundred lumens.

Brightest and probably the best kit in my opinon (for more light output) would probably hafta be the 4300k regular HID kit that's found in many stock cars because u shouldn't lose any lumens. As you increase in color temperature kelvin doesn't necessarily mean its any brighter. Life expectancy should be equally the same to my knowledge. If these 6000-8000k kits can output more than 3200 lumens that a 4300k D2S xenon bulb does, then yes, they are probably much better because more light is output. I haven't heard such a bulb YET that can output more than that. Just FYI and if I am wrong in some of my points, someone correct me. Thanks

I think that the 6k looks better than the 7k. I've seen both and I don't like the blue look of the 7k. Once again, enjoy your HIDs.

Peace.

He sold me the purple 6000k and they look clean. I can see everything on the road now. But I still don't know what to do with the fuses.

there were other reasons why the 7000 are better. I believe they are a direct bolt on. I mean with 6000 u gotta do some rewiring or something.

also the 7000 has like one blaster or something? i'm the last one that should be talking about specs on this type of stuff since i don't know sh*t but 97GLE gave me a few good points about the 7000 over the 6000, other than opinions on color output.

The Blue is ust straight up blue led bulb.. The white/blue is half and half so you get like a light blue color. You'll probably just want to get the blue led's..

yea, i just bought a set of the blue led's, thanks bro.

and thanks NyC, haha, these are a beauty. The extra clamps are from stock intake and i'm not sure what the hissing sound may be, i think its natural though
