BOSE out DIAMOND AUDIO in

ok, cough up another one for DA DON! aka Pearl96max. I wanted to take out my bose because it would be a little nasty with the panasonic head unit i wanted to put in, or like don like to calls, 'panacrapic '. But we took care of the components today (Diamond Audio M3 components which are 2 tweets, two mids and two crossovers). Also bought an amp from a friend and this was all hooked up. For something coming from the front, this system alone was great. Compared to the Bose, this system got a lot louder a lot earlier, as far as vocals, but i kind of felt the base was the same as the BOSE (not fully adjusted nor is amp all the way up). Also, i don't have any mids in the back, just mids in the front and tweets in the front. So i'm very satisfied with what i have thus far.

Unfortunately, scheduling was bad and we started late meaning we had to end late, so day 2 will be coming shortly. I have some coaxal diamond audio's that will be put in the back and i know this combination will be great because the fronts alone are kicking the BOSE's a$$. I also have two shiva's going in the back for the ultimate average poor man system . I'll keep you all posted!

I might make it up to Don's around the end of the month. Maybe early December. As the new system starts getting pieced together.

it's just to let them know that their car is ricey ... can you picture someone driving along minding their own business and all of a sudden their car starts getting pelted with rice ... that'd be really funny

DAY 2 and SUCCESS!!

today, don took care of back coaxals, installed my aluminum dash kit (yes he can do more than audio equipment ) and ran wires so when i get my subs it would be easy install. I'm extremely pleased with this system, DEFINITELY louder than the bose and i'm seriously going deaf. Anybody looking for a component set, i say there's nothing cleaner than diamond audio and he sells and installs them. He can obviously install and just showed me that he can also take out the feared BOSE system. hmmm, so let's see what he has done for me in the 4 months i have known him....

viper 600 alarm
viper responder alarm
viper 550 alarm for my father's Mazda MPV
installed kenwood amp and sub for me
installed DA component and coaxal set
aluminum kit
i'm getting door inserts from him in a few
and also having him install those nice blue led's all over the doors

thanks don, another SATISFIED customer. He also sacrificed his early afternoon for me moving his plans ahead. Everywhere else would moan and complain and charge me extra for throwing off their schedule, not Don. He understands what comes first, customer satisfaction!

very tru. We didn't have a problem taking it out, its just that everywhere i go, when they hear "BOSE taking out" they start to moan and talk crap like we didn't know the bose made it a little harder than other stock cars.

Keep the alpine. Or if you decide to trade it in on one of the overpriced units you mentioned, I'll take the good one you will be giving away.

If you had my list of expenses and my list of wants, you would know where I am comeing from. But I would probably pass on that Alpine unless I could get more from it by selling. I want a 7998, but it keeps getting further from my sig, instead of closer.

I visited Don a few weeks ago to have my Diamond Hex components in the front, coax's in the rear, Eclipse HU and Diamond amp installed. Great prices, great work, great customer service and great family and friends to boot. I even got express delivery to the local movies and back while he worked on my car. The DA Hex's are without a doubt the best price/performance speakers you can get. Remote start and alarm are next. Thanks for the personalized service!
