I got my autometer fuel pressure gauge back today, and thankfully I got the full sweep one in return for my short sweep. When I called autometer a week ago, the guy I spoke to said they had the short sweep ones coming in and that's what I would get... apparently they haven't gotten them yet. So if you still need to send yours in for the recall, hurry up and do it soon!!!!

 

Do I have to call first? Or can I just send it in? I have been putting this off...

 

You just have to send it in Tony. When I called, the guy told me to write 'Recall' on the outside of the box, and include your name and address inside. I got mine back in about 1 week. Good luck.

I just got 2 full sweep ones back from them. When I called they said they were sending out the short sweep ones already, but that some full sweep ones were still being sent out. So hurry. I also sent a note with my original gauges stating that I wanted the full sweep ones to make up for the inconvenience.

 

damn...why have I put it off so long....I'm going to take that sucker out tomorrow..

 

I couldn't sleep tonight so I just did it. I couldn't get the damn fuel lines to come off. Anyway, I had to cut them off. Didn't someone mention there is a tool to remove the fuel line? Can someone link me to it so I don't have to cut them off the next time?
