Whats that open hose next to the ATF dipstick?
OK I give. I was checking the ATF on my 2000 GLE and I notice this little black hose coming up from below. It does a 180 degree bend near the mount where its attached and then is just open to the air. Is this some kind of vent or did something become unattached?

Don't worry about it, it's just a vent.
