Hi.

I got Scosche NN 1494 from SoundDomain.com, but have problems installing it. Basically when I put the after market unit in the original brackets and the scosche pocket with the trim - The Mounting panel does not fit on them without making a huge gap with the stock temperature control unit.
The instructions that come with the kit say that I have to drill 6 holes in the factory bracket. The Scosche tech support says I have to drill the holes, but it does not seems right (they are too close to original holes, and the surface of the bracket is not flat).
Is there an easy way to install it correctly?
I know that some of you installed this kit on your Max - any instructions / suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
