ANOTHER suspension question

I'm looking for a shock/spring combo that will maintain as much of the stock ride as possible. so far, my research has turned up that i should go with the H&R's/maxspeeds with tokico blues. what do you all think? which springs would you recommend? there has been some talk about creaking noise with the maxspeeds, but there have also be concerns about an uneven drop with the H&R's. can anyone say anything definitive about those two issues?

if you want sofetest rides from aftermarket shocks and springs, get H&Rs and Tokicos.

man, that was a quick response!

how about the drop though...people have expressed concerns about it being uneven.

also, i forgot to mention, if i get parts professionally installed, how much should i expect to pay total?

it's not uneven..it's just the front fender arches are higher than the rear, so it 'looks' like the car's higher in the front. but it's not.

well, Premier autoworks in La Habra will do it for $85 installed for both. but that's in so cal and i don't know where u live

" so far, my research has turned up...." that is from my first post. don't get hostile. was that "sweet jesus" comment necessary? i found nothing really definitive, just a whole bunch of contradicting advice.

I am running H&Rs on stock shocks. Love the ride and car looks 100% better.

I paid about $150 for install.

H&R's and Tokico's provide an acceptable ride and a very attractive drop. See below...

personally, i was leaning towards the h&r/maxspeed and kyb gr2 combo cuz it was my understanding that the kybs are supposed to be better than tokico

Why does everyone do this?!? If there was nobody asking questions, there would be no database for the search function to search from!!! The more input there is on a subject, the better, in my mind. I, personally, always search first, but if I'm not satisfied, I will ask the question anyway (just like Young04 did here). There's a difference between pointing out, to a newbie, that the search function is available, and just being an a$$hole. And finally... I don't think "Sweet Jesus" or "Christ" cares whether the question gets asked or not.

I still haven't seen any actual data to point to the comparison of GR2 & Tok Blue.
