What I say is if you're going to get decals at least get decals that pertain to the vehicle. Getting V-tec on your maxima is stupid since vtec is from honda. Just like you wouldn't put a Type-R on anything because once again it is honda. If you put on decals get NISMO or MAXIMA or NISSAN or VQPOWER. you know JWT but don't get stuff from other companies, that's just cheesy.

Not trying to be rude, I just wanted to make sure you know nadir_s did photoshop that on.

PS. I really like your car nadir_s, I really want to red-out the tails on my 96 but can't find any of that tape.

I wasn't talking about that particular car. I was talking about in general. There are many people our there that put that stuff on there cars when it doesn't even belong to that car. Like I also think it's dumb when people put on a GT-R badge on there maxima or 240SX. Why do that? Do you really think someone is going to think your car is a skyline? That is corney to me. Or those huge decals look kind of ugly also.

My friend is convinced that if you modify a Maxima to certain specs, Nissan will "GT-R Certify it"

He's a member of this board, too, and actually knows his stuff - he just won't admit he's wrong on that one.

I have ELite Motorsports on my car (in the front shot earlier) only because they are a hella cool shop that has given me some excellent support and deals.

They impressed me so much, I wanted to advertise.

And the "SuperCharged" emblem, which is silver and not very noticable, only there because I'm sick of idiots hearing the V1 and saying "Dude, your fan belt is squaling!"

Why on earth would you put decals on your car unless the company is sponsoring you. I dont want my car to look like a moving billboard. The maxima is a classy car and all those decals make it look ricey. If you wanna do that **** get a friggin civic

Because those guys have literally given me hundereds of dollars in deals.

howabout 10 Dyno Runs with a wideband O2 meter for $60?

Or an Autometer Lunar series EGT Gauge for $50?

And everyone, including every board member in the area, thinks it looks great and flows with the classy lines of the car perfectly.

Also, airmattdog has a complete vinyl decal setup on his car, and it wins show after show - and looks great too.

I myself am not into the whole vinyl decal kit thing, but i can understand it, and enjoy it, if people do it right.

Unlike this:

If you arent getting paid for it dont put a decal on, atleast that is my opinion. People are so dumb, it is the same thing with stupid civic drivers, they think just because they are popular on the import drag racing circuit that there stock civic is fast. What they neglect to realize is that not one of those cars has that base engine in it(usually swapped for a gsr) and they put thousands of dollars into them. same thing with decals they see all these drag cars with decals so they think hey why dont i put some on my rice burning 16 second car. But again pro racers dont put them on cause they look good they put them on because they get paid for it.

Once again, I have decals on my car, and I'm 277hp at the wheel, and soon to be more.

Noone pays me, but they give me good deals, and their logo is pretty sweet and classy.

Congratualations you have alot of horsepower, that doesnt mean decals look good(my opinion) but in your case you are getting a discount and you are helping them out by advertising for them so that is alright.

You letting these comments bother you? You have one of the better cars on here. Your decals look fine. It's not like you have a huge windshield banner or racing stripes. The one the front quarter panel is what, 4"X4".

If you want decals get decals. Just know that if you come on the .org and post pics you're going to get a lot of crap because most people here hate decals.

Actually, I'm more defending all guys who use decals tastefully.

Just got a little carried away.

And it's 4"x8"
