Pioneer remote screws installation
Pioneer remote screws installation
I got the Pioneer SDR-100 remote control, but the kit is missing the screws for the mounting bracket. Anyone know what size\length\type of screws will work with this bracket?
I know it's fine thread, set screw type (with head), and probably metric 3mm. Can anyone give me the exact specifications?
Here's a picture of the remote and bracket:

Thanks,

I have the SR80 which is basically the same thing. The screws dont say anything on them so I dont have any way of knowing what size they are. It uses a small allen wrench that was included when I bought my SR80.
You could just take the piece into a hardware store and see which screws fit

.One thing is, mine slips and turns around the steering wheel. I have it on the tightest fit possible on the band but it still moves. Do you have this happening? Not really a problem, just annoying I guess.

Cool, I found some small screws that fit. I installed the remote and it's cool, but I need to learn the buttons

I use to have that same remote when I had my Pioneer HU for all of 3 months. I took a pair of needle nose pliers and stretched the band around the steering wheel to the point that it did not move at all.

Did you guys cut the band to shorten it? The top part wouldn't fit if the band overlapped, so I cut the excess part of the band off.
