Estimates on 1/8? All input appreciated!

Hi,
I am going to the track on Jan 25th whe they open back up. Now I was wondering what kind of times can be expected this time I go. I drive a 98 max se with 5 speed. Last time I went, mods were- intake, sprint springs. Thats it and I did a 9.915 at 71 mph in the 1/8. Since then, I have added, short shifter and Zex 75 shot nitrous, still no exhasut upgrades. What kind of time on 1/8 could I expect. I'm hoping to break 9 sec. flat. Possible or not. My friends with non maximas predict 9.3 or 9.4 in 1.8 mile. What do you guys think?

first of all, i know you didn't ask, but i strongly recommend putting an aftermarket ypipe on your car.

as for a prediction, i would say about a 9.3
9 flat is pretty hard to accomplish for the 1/8 mile.

9.91 @ 71mph is a little on the slow side for what you have. Did you have a poor launch? You should be able to easily get into the 8s with your 75-shot... if not you are doing something wrong. Most bolt on 5spds are running in the 9.3-9.4 range. A 9.4 1/8th only translates into about a 14.5 1/4 mile. You should be far faster than this.

though i dont have a max our cars arent too different...ive gone 8.969 and id say it'll come down to your ability to launch...a low 2.1 60' and a very low 9. is in the cards blow the launch and it's all up hill....

i know it wasn't a 9.91 with my nitrous shot. I basically got 9.9 with intake for go fast mods. SInce them, I've added short shifter, and 75 shot of nitrous. so will i break 9? and what does a 9 second 1/8 miles translate into 1/4 mile?

9.0 in the 1/8 works out to between 13.9 and 14.1 in the 1/4 mile.
