has anyone done this before...

I just put a new pionner head unit in yesterday,(DEH 3400) and noticed it doesnt come with a power anetenna hook up, where can i get one of these? but my real question is can I fit the headunit into the little compartment above the ashtray with the flip door. Of course I'd have to shave down the inside, and then put a tv or display screen up where the stock radio was and wire it up to a playstation mounted in the glove box? Would this be really hard to do and how much approx. can screens that size go for? Any help would be appreciated. thanks,
Justin

I would just shave the whole thing out and put a 7" in there.

There should be a blue wire or a blue wire w/ a whit stripe. It may be marked as a "remote" wire. It can be used to switch an amp or antenna.

There is NO NEED to shave anything. The botton tray will fit the single din HU perfectly. The double din opening that your radio is currently in will fit up to a 7" widescreen perfectly as well.

I have done many cars this way already, and zero problems.

As far as your antenna wire, Erty is correct the blue wire will make it go up.
