**Air Conditioning Question** - Blower motor related..
Well, for you guru's who know your way around this car, here's my dilemma.
My ac unit turns on, lights up, ac compressor kicks on, etc.. BUT the blower does not work. The connector to the bottom of the blower motor directly behind the passenger kick panel was burnt up on the inside of the connector. I took out the blower, tested it with outside power and it worked. Cut the connector out that was burnt and replaced it.. i also replaced the relay just in case.
Now, here's the weird part.. when i turn on my headlights the little amplifier that the blower plugs into (directly behind the glove box) makes a humming noise.. only with the headlights/corners on. My tech guy at Nissan has an amplifier out of a car that had a related issue, except his blower would never turn off.. so we unplugged my amplifier and plugged in the constantly running one and the blower kicked on, which leads us to believe that the amp in my car was bad.
I ordered one and replaced it today and there is STILL nothing working or turning on. We are ordering yet another amplifier just in case that one was bad from factory... but what else could it possibly be, any ideas???
