Well, there goes spring break 2003!

Just spent my spring break money on my car. I replaced 5 manifold studs total, 3 on back, 2 on front. Also found bad timing tensioner and stretched belt. I paid 648.82. He also cleaned my ABS sensors for free, but now they are doing the same darn thing, but with more noise. It seems the ABS kickes in right before I come to a complete stop, dont get it. Any ideas? Speed Sensor? Anyway, I think for all of that work I got it done for a good price. Dont think I got ripped off. Let me know your 2 cents. Thank-You

same thing he said. timing belt itself often costs $600 to replace, and the studs cost about $300/head to replace. sooo, you got a good deal. hope you replaced ALL of the studs and not just the broken ones.. if not, you'll be replacing the rest of them sometime...

as for the ABS stuff, that's a common problem. pick up a service manual and do the diagnostic procedures listed there.
