now im leaking coolant.... Please read!

This morning after i moved my car on the driveway i noticed a small puddle of anit-freeze on my driveway. I later jacked my car up and crawled underneath to see where it was coming from. I saw the trail coming down a harness right next to the oil drain plug. Its a small drip i guess from what i could see.

Does anybody have an idea of where this leak could be coming from? Its the passanger side so im assuming the radiator is ruled out

im gonna go out to Max Performance this week and let Jeff take a look, but i was hopin maybe it was something i could fix myself.

thanks

Ant

Check the connections to your engine and the coolant temp sensor. Also see if the resevoir is leaking.

Front passenger side of engine you'll see radiator hose on water inlet near alternator.

Have you worked on anything in that area? A couple days ago you changed the coolant temp sensor, right? Perhaps it has something to do with that...improper install maybe?

BTW, did you find anything out about the 'idle plunger' thing (cost, location and whatnot)? I'm having a similar problem with starting, except mine is much worse; happens in all weather conditions.

its not my coolant temp sensor leaking, believe me that was the 1st thing i checked. My leak has been occuring long before i touched my ECTS. As far as the idle plunger, it costs $140 from Nissan. Ill probably change mine out next paycheck

i need money now to get this leak fixed and to have my UDP installed

The water pump i can get for "cost" not a Nissan one but aftermarket. And as far as labor id definitly have to see Jeff regarding the install.

Look like 2 months ago my car has the same....and the leak of coolant was exaclty under the thermostat....this radiator sucks, and with time, coold weather can brake easy and you will not notice wheres the leak...the problem of the oem radiator of maxima is that is just plastic made...and they dont have mode to fix it....i remplace the radiator for another one, new and made with aluminium more cheap, easy to fix and it cost me 112 dollars...and dont have problem since.

Perhaps this has something to do with it? What type of coolant were all you guys with pump problems using?
