2000 headlights

I searched the forums and found that it is recommended to clean your headlights 3m plastic polish, if they have a film or any other stuff that will not come off. Has anyone used this stuff and had sucess? Thanks

well my mom just bought a new 2k gxe maxima for. But the headlights have this film that wont come off. i have tried wax with no avail. I saw some guy post that nissan recommends this 3m stuff so i'll try it tommorow and get back to you. I have bought new ngk laser plat. plugs for the max, changed the oil and oil filter to amsoil, I ordered a franken car intake, i also ordered a fstb. I want a rsb but not sure what is the best, addco? I'm looking for some bg44k, but can't find in alaska. What else would you recommend i do as far a maintience and upgrades?

as for the 3M stuff, it works fine if the haze is on the outside, but if it's on the inside, its not gonna help. I haveth the film you speaketh of. I tried the 3M stuff in hopes of clearing it up, but all it did was make the outside so clean and clear that you could see MORE of the haze on the inside. So I dunno, maybe pull out your bulbs get some chopsticks and a cotton swab...

for the maintenance, if your car is an auto, maybe get the tranny flushed?

back to sleep,
