Squeaky Belts I think ????

Every morning when I start my car it sounds like the belts are squeaking. Once the car gets warmed up the noise goes away. Is it the belts or could it be something else ?

It only seems to do it when it is cold....

Any help would be appreciated...

Belt squeak...

Since installing a UDP, I hear a slight (small), continuous sqeaking from the belts. Is this avoidable with UDP's, or is it something to be expected? I'd like to know aswell (don't want to steal your thread here) if there's a way to get rid of this (sounds like the same issue)?

I stopped durring my lunch break (15 mins ago) at Advanced Auto Parts, and explained my belt squeak this to this guy (old, seemed like he knew his stuff). He said there is a messy lube that some people use, but they always use too much and it get's messy. Plus, he said it doesn't really work. He said I should try LAUNDRY DETERGENT. Anyone tried this, or is this ?

Someone please shed some light for us.
