my trunk light didnt come on so i changed the bulb, still doesnt come on... anybody got any suggetsions?

 

I'm guessing that it's probably your wiring maybe? I have the same problem with my dome light. I replaced the light, still didn't come on? I'm not sure why either? But, do you really need your trunk light? I mean, cuz, it's really not all that bright either?

 

There is a switch that controls the trunk light. The manual shows it on the same harness as the light so it must be close (up under the rear sill where the torsion springs and hinges are). Can't tell exactly where from the diagram. Will look next time over to my junker ... got that area all opened up. If you need a switch I probably have one.

 

could be a freyed (sp) wire...

 

I had the same problem on my last 91. The security system also did not work. I replaced the latch, and made sure the wires were fine on that, but it didn't work. There was a wire somewhere that severed and I never did end up finding it.
