Finally.. Only 5spd 2K1 SC GLE in NE!!!

I just wanted to share this with everyone. If you haven't already read my past threads, I blew out my auto tranny about 2 1/2 weeks ago.. Well since then I've converted over to a 5spd.. So if I'm not mistaken I think I'm the only 5spd GLE 2K1 SC max on da org

I must have stalled a million times after I pulled the car out of Maximum Tuning Well at least on the way to work I limited the amount of stalls to like 2.. So it's getting better... Only thing that sucks is having a fast car but not being able to handle the stick power

Hey Danny,

at least you can admit to the lack of 5speed tranny driving. As alot of kids out there swear they know what theyre doing even when they stall !

Just curious, can you give us a ballpark figure how much this ran for parts and labor? Did maximum tuning do all the work for you?

thanks

It took a while cuz some of the parts that I got out of the front clip were damaged so we had to order new ones.. Other then that everything went ok. It costs roughly like $2200 with the extra parts that I had to get and labor and misc things...

Is that 2200 with or without the cost of the 5 speed tranny?

That's the cost for everything.. Parts, labor.. etc... The tranny I pickup up had between 20-30K.. So it's still in good shape..
