i'm currently doing my trunk, and right now i'm doing the box for it. if you wanna keep up to date with it, the link is below for all the pictures....

Sub Pics

The Setup is 2 Diamond Audio TDX 12D4's.
the box is 1" MDF all around with 1" Clear Plexiglass for the rear sheet. i'm using .75 cubic per box for a total of 1.5 and it's really not taking that much space at all. maybe you could just make it smaller. an FYI, our max length is 40", max height of 17" and max depth of 13", given we'd want the box to not go pas the wheel well bumps and clear the rear deck. my box is 12x12x9 interior dimension, or 26x14x11 outside dimension, well within the space limit. most likely i'll put the cap and crossovers next tot he box, seeing as i'll have a good foot of leftover space to work with.

And Polo, that's a nice woofer and nice box design. By the way, where do u go drill your 12" perfect circle at?? if you dont have the board driller?

well just to be picky, the thru hole diameter is 11.05". the actual diamter of the sub is 12.46" i'm doing the box at my friends shop. he owns a custom woodworking business (designs cabinets, closets, stairs, rails, etc...) so i drew up the box specs on microstation, with all angles and dimensions and he cut it exactly to spec for me. the hole driller is freakin huge but pretty damn cool. it's so precise too.
