it didnt surprise me when i found out.. alternator!

my batt died this past week so thinking that was the problem i got a new one (interstate), and in 2 days that dies. wtf? so fishing through every fuse/relay in the entire car i was trying to find out what was still drawing current with the battery unhooked, because i was getting an amp reading on my meter instead of it being zero which it should be. again, wtf? So i then tested the load on the alternator, and the reading came back "bad". Bam, pop out the nice old corroded alty and put in the new one, connected the belts and ho **** starts right up, gauge/interior/headlights lights seem much brighter, and that mysterious "shop-vac" sounding whine noise is GONE

EXACT same thing happened to me this weekend.

Wow, whining noise is gone after 3 months, its magic, I wonder why it stopped. Oh S@*T!

 

told ya Ive got a stock fog at my house if you want it for your bent one.

 

Finally the whining noise is gone, one problem fixed. Oh yeah, Jason's fog is perfect and stop driving around with the bent one.
