Cost of cruise control actuator?

It looks like I need a cruise actuator for my cruise control system. The light comes on when it's engaged but the car just coasts. The actual vacuum chamber mated to the cable works fine, because I can suck on the hose and move the throttle cable. Assuming I just need the little vacuum pump, what should I expect to shell out for it?

u sure its the actuator? if its setting the cruise speed only...it still needs the actuator to work, which appears to be working. U might wanna check the cruise control buttons on the steering...

i have heard the wires that go into it gets lose over time and needs to be wiggled a bit to get them working again.

I just saw one on Ebay yesterday. I don't remember the item number or anything, but I'm sure it'll come up in a search

I think it probably is your actuator

I had the same thing where I could press the set button and the green light would come on but it wouldn't do anything to hold the speed

I got mine from Matt when he was parting out his old GXE, but check junkyards around you and www.car-part.com.

You can use one from a GXE on your SE. The cables are a little different, but you can switch that part from your broken on onto the "new" one. It's just 3 or so screws that holds the big part of the assembly onto the metal bracket and then unplug the vacuum line from it.
