I have joined the Intrax ranks

I decided my Eibachs werent low enough so I got some Intrax.

While I was at it I completely rebuilt the rear suspension by replacing all of the bushings and replacing the solid parallel link with an adjustable one (tired of tire ware). I put new strut mounts, bearings and struts. I got KYB for now because I was running low on money with all the stuff I have gotten and some doctors bills I paid off. I plan on buying a Koni here and there until I have all of them and am going to put them on and put the KYBs on the 92.

I absolutely love the look and the drive is 100% better but thats mostly because my struts were wore out.

Here are some pics but dont laugh because its still not painted after my repairs and I still have only modified one door handle because of the cold weather. It will be finished and blue by May though.

It was cold this morning when I took the pics thats why there is smoke coming out the tail pipe.

Even tho it's only halfway shaved, the handle on your rear looks good man. I'm sure it'll look nice and clean when you get your paint done. keep up the good work...

damn those rims looks perfect on a 3rd gen. I might be getting those instead of the sub-z's. Your car would look cool all grey (primered) and the kit in black looks good also I can't wait to see it in blue. Oh yeah the drop is real nice.

Thanks,

I thought about shaving the handles completely but that has been done by a few so I thought I would leave the handle but git rid of the lines. I think it is subtle but will look smooth when done and no one else has done it that I know of.

A lot of work. I used a whole tube of jb weld (cant weld it since its pot metal) and then used metal to metal body filler instead of plastic filler. I was worried about it cracking and that is one of the reasons I havent done the rest but it has held up without any problems for several months so I think I am safe.

Since you are going for performance I dont know if you should get these wheels over the sub-z. I love them and think they look awesome on a 3rd gen but they are a lot heavier than the sub-z's.

OH and for all of you new guys that were not around when I got this car last year...I got it for $800 because the front fender, bumper, hood, and rear quarter and bumper was wrecked. I did all the work myself including replacing the quarter panel. The only thing I didnt do was put the rear window back in after I did the work and that is only because I didnt have the sealer that is required and I have a friend in the glass business do it for me. I did cut the glass out though.

This has been a long project and I am glad I am getting close to being finished.

Looks so much better than the Eibachs!

I'm kinda thinking of trying out Intrax. I want to find somebody to compare with side by side first though

I'll be making a trek to Dallas one day, probably after I get my new wheels in a couple weeks if things work out.
