any good tires for the OEM wheels?
well, theres lots of opinions there...michelins should b good so i dont know what went wrong there....i search and found many like dunlop sport A2's which i bought, and they r much better than the last set i had, so i reccomend them...depends on your budget also, as well as where u live (the dunlops arent the best for snow, but i live in FL so who cares)
I haven't seen a tire last longer than a Michelin. I guess it all depends on what model you go with. My moms 850 Volvo got over 80k on a set of MXV4+ and i've seen a honduh accord wagon (driven by an elderly lady) with two that had over 100k on them. I personally have BFG Touring TA HR4s in a 215/60/15 and love them. They do really well in wet conditions too. If you can afford the Michelins i'd go with a Pilot XGT (H and V rated available) but the MXV4s (also in H or V ratings)tend to last longer and are also better in wet conditions. With proper alignment you can easily get over 60K on the Pilots.
I had Michelins also. Lasted 85K miles and still had tread left, but grip could have been a little better.
I bought Falken ZE-326s (205/65R15 94V) a couple of months ago and they're pretty good tires. Grippy and quiet, good in rain, cool looking tread pattern too.
If you live on the west coast, any Les Schwab tire store should be able to set you up. These tires also come H-rated for a few bucks less (I paid $376 including 8.8% tax out the door with 45K warranty, road hazard, etc., here in Washington State).

i recently replaced all four michelin mxv4's with michelin xgt's. i wore through the mx's in about 50k or so, mostly bc of the mountains i live in and how i drive. the xgt's have impressed me so far, better cornering grip than the mx's and they handle water better. my only gripes with them is that they are wearing down fast and they are worthless in snow...of course most tires with the exception of dedicated snow tires are, but these are the worst ive experienced. anyway, they are pretty good for the price i guess. look on tirerack.com, they have lots of customer reviews of tires

plus, I only got about 15k miles out of a set of P7000 on my car.
Then again, I only get about 10k on Kumho 712s.

Both of those tires are horrid in the snow. not something I would consider an all-season.
