how can i fix my anoying creaks and rattels?
when ever i go over a bump i hear creaks and rattles from both the front and the back of my car. how can i fix this? it is sooo anoying, and i have a nice 98 maxima but i just want it to sound like it is not falling apart when ever i go over a bump. thanks.

Mine does the same and it is a '96.... I happen to notice the noise high, I have 131K miles on and plan on replacing the shocks/struts and also replacing the strut bushings which I suspect IS the culprit for the noises.... because I notice the noise is in a high location and past experience with my last car (Nissan Sentra) was that it was the strut bushing which was worn down. Thats been my past experience, maybe some more members can provide input.
Well I should wrap this up before I start to ramble.

I have had the max since new and get the same rattle noises. Mine comes from under the passenger seat also. Doesnt seem like anything is lose, so i dont know...

MY car is a 99 maxima Gle, and i do get the same rattles, and dunk dunk noise from passenger side dashboard. its like something loose in there. i am thinking its the airbag or something. this car never been in accident. although the car was used when i bought it. i did car fax on it and it came out clean. is this common problems with most maxima's. anyone know this the same problem???
