Well I am quite proud of myself today. I was at Home Depot buying a bathroom fan when I remembered reading on here that you can use gutter screening to make a homemade grill insert that looks as good as any I've seen. The gutter guard came in 5 pieces 3 ft long by about 5 inches wide. It was a pain in the *** to do it in the cold, and I didnt want to get too involved,as in taking the whole grill out(though the results would be much better). But for under $7 I dont mind taking the time and I'd much rather be able to say that I did it myself. In the warmer weather I'll do a better job but for now it looks great. All I did was zip tie the screen to the grill from the back.

I did the same thing last weekend, I didn't like it behind the vertical slats, so, a little cutting and I got it to fit in front of them. It does look good, but, I just bought the Grille Tech one off ebay for $30, I think it will look a little better than my hack job
