just got back from the dealer (starting problem)

just got back from the dealer (starting problem)

i had a starting problem just cranks but would fire up after awhile.
today it didn't wanna start . so i brought it 2 the dealer and they told me its the ignition switch. so they replace it cost me 210.00 parts&labor. they said i have anythere problem idle ruff $ starting problem still but no as bad they said. so they said they gonna check for a bad ground 2morrow.

my problem i have:
starting problem
whitling noise on idle

It sounds to me like your stater, but maybe it is all part of the ignition swith, somebody correct me please. I had my starter replaced because of similar issue a couple years ago and had it fixed for about $150 with a replacement starter. Good luck mang.

whistling while idling is caused my loose belts (get that checked out) and the starting problem ... try getting the car jumped, if it doesn't work then it's the starter, if it does start then it's the alternator

No its not the maxima. any car could have same problems...
