Should I change FMU Disc from 8:1 to 6:1 I'm Running Rich??
I checked with Stillen and the part that comes on v2 2000+ are indeed the 8:1 disc. And I'm running pretty rich at this point even with the AFC tuned at 23+%. Fuel Pressue was at 34psi. Now it's idling at 40psi. And gas miles have sucked lately. I get like 250 sometimes on a full tank. I used to get 300+ easily. So I guess I should look at getting the 6:1 disc so I can lean it out a bit and then retuning my AFC?
I'm running the 6:1 disc on my V1 w/a 3.33" pulley and 1 step colder plugs. I STILL get horrible milage. My fp idle is 38-41psi. I guess the colder plugs and stock fpr is killing me. The V2 makes a little more boost per psi then the V1 depending on the pulley, so if your running a 3.33" I'm not sure what you should do. If your running the stock pulley, then by all means switch. I hit something like 65psi at WOT with my setup which is good.

vortech : $280
cartech : $240?
here is my dyno, FYI

another 5th gen max has similar setup with AFC and his A/F ratio was exactly the same as mine before Kevin tuned the AFC. Kevin brought it back to a nice flat 12.5:1.

If they went 11.5, it's actually running richer now. 11.5 is not as way rich as you think. It may even give you more hp than 12.5.
