There is a little hole under the fuse box. Start your drill there with a 3-1/4 inch bit and it will fit very nicely.

 

if that works, then this should be added to the maxima faq's

 

According to the writeup on this site the templete actually has you drill a little bit away from that hole. But it looks like only an inch or so away so if you do use the hole to line up it will probably work fine. BTW - I need the template too , I can't belive it is not online anywhere.
