Paint Job Suggestions
Hey guys, it's been a while since I was on here since I wrecked the Max. But, she's being fixed up with a couple little goodies in store
. At any rate, I need to get her into the shop for paint before the end of spring break. I was deciding on a couple of different paint jobs when I saw Chris' alpine white with the blue pearl
. So, here's what I was thinkin about...
- black with red pearl
- black pearl
- or just plain old super black
Let me know what you guys think would be the best or could recommend anything shinier and blacker...

I would go with black with the metallic gray? silver phat i seen it done black with da gray metallic beautiful color and nobody has it ur car will look off da hook !hata what i want to do but $3000 is a lil to much for now i will do later on da line!!!!!! good luck!
There is not much better than a straight body car with a good solid black paint job because it looks so deep. With that being said I always like to be different and a dark grey pearl or black pearl (not sure if that exists but I dont know that much about paint) would look great. I would stay away from a red or blue pearl on black. It may look great but I can visualize it looking that good.
I definitly agree....black is such a perfect color...except for in the winter time
I was actually thinking of doing a dark blue / black color....trying to incorporate maybe some of the mystic blue, or even laguna seca blue, off the new M3's, with a deep black pearl....mmmmmm

On black I wouldnt go with pearl I would go with a metallic black from California House of Colors, if your body shop has one of there books you can get some good ideas, but the paint is like $800 more than like PPG paint, but if you see a color the body shop can probably give you something close to it.
