Has anyone had any problems with their HIDs?

My wife swears that when she is driving in front of me that my right light is not as bright as the left one. It is hard to notice unless you are away from the car. Any ideas? Anyone had the stock HIDs replaced under warranty?

Don't forget that the lights are aimed so they don't blind on coming drivers. So given the angle, one could look brighter than the other.

The right one is aimed more to the side of the road. Look at street signs you'll notice some that are pretty far off to the right that look like they have a spot light on them. Well they do

Guess I should have thought about that. I have not seen it in person. I am always driving. She has just mentioned it on several ocasions.

Wouldn't the left one be more likely to blind oncoming drivers, so IT would be the one aimed away?

Anyway, my 2k3 headlights are equally bright. My wife's car had this problem when we bought it, and it was because one light needed to be adjusted (either that or the car's designed to hunt crawfish...)

She's in the drivers seat of the car in front which puts here directly in front of your left headlight. The right one is at a slight angle her so it's doesn't appear as bright because she's not looking directly into it.

Look in your own rear view mirror of a car with HID's in back of you and you'll see the same difference in brightness on most HID systems. Especially on BMW or Audi's.
