How do I fix my antenna?

I am a newb to the board and this has probly already been asked a thousand times. I need to fix my Power antenna on my 93 but I can't find anywhere that sells just the mast. SO, are there any other cars I can get a power antenna out of? What other model cars use the exact same power ant? Or can I buy just a mast somewhere? I tried using the search feature on this board but it won't let me. Says I am logged but I am not allowed to use it.

.

I cannot find just the mast for a 93 maxima. They obly sell them for the 95+ models. Can I buy just the mast or do I have to buy the entire power antenna?

OE = original equipment (aka stock Nissan)

OEM = original equip manufacturer (or maybe manufactured)

you can get teh mast from any Nissan dealer and replace it yourself

my 93' max started having problem with the power antenna lately. since 5 months ago, i started hearing griding noise when the antenna retract from about 6 inches to complete retraction. it's ok.. cuz' it's just grinding noise. however, it started stop at 6" and can't lower anymore since last week. i read a lot of message regarding to replacing the antenna mast. i removed my antenna mast and found out the the antenna mast is at full length and still with gear on it. i clean up grease, and reapply new grease before re-inserting the antenna mast again with gear facing the rear of the ar. damn it.. it's even worse, the antenna only retract to 2 feet with 2 seconds of grinding noise and stop right there.. it could extend completely. why doesn't they antenna stop in the middle? if gear worn out, i should be hearing grinding noise longer.. what make the motor stop grinding? really strange.. any ideas?
