Does anyone know how much it would cost to put hid's on a 2k2 se? If so how difficult are they to install? Thanks

to retrofit 2k2/2k3 HID assy's into an 00-01 would be a costly purchase.

IMO, u'd be better off purchasing an H4 conversion kit

I'll trade my stock 2k3's for cleared 2k3's...

that is, as long as they are sealed properly

I thought there was some place that had GXEs that didn't have HIDs standard in 02. Maybe that was just me or it was an earlier run, but I swear I've seen pics of an 02 with non-hids stock

i'm pretty sure that all 2k2s come with HIDs stock... i do have an ounce of doubt for the gxes.. but i dont think i've ever seen one without HIDs...

every 2k2-2k3 maxima comes with HIDs, no matter what trim it is

the only reason probably to find 2k-2k1 lights is if the regular stock HIDs were stolen a few times from the 2k2-2k3 maximas, and the person just put the regular 2k-2k1 lights on his 2k2-2k3 maxima.
