You don't have a blown maf, but your maf may be damaged or in the process of becoming blown. With a blown maf, the engine doesn't go over 2000-2500rpm in first gear. I'd take your car to nissan if its still under warranty.

Are you still under warranty? If you are, whatever is wrong should be covered. You might want to remove your intake before you go.

Blown MAF = the engine wont start.

Not entirely true E55AMG2

The car still starts, but you are put into 'limp' mode. This means that the engine will not go above 2000-2500rpms.

sounds like a failing MAF sensor. Might want to contact Dave B for a replacemnt about 80-100 bucks. 2 screws remove it, and in goes the new one. Takes 10 mints tops. Then Reset ECU by unplugging battery for a few hours. As for E55AMG, the car will start with a blown/bad/failing MAF just wont run right.

I doubt it is the fuel filter. 5th gen have that in the tank and according to nissan, it doesnt have to be replaced.

you can always do a pressure check on the FPR to see if it is at proper pressure.
