cut coil on Progress Springs?!?! HELP

I am wondering if anyone has cut a coil off of the progress springs?? I went from Ground Controls to Progress and the drop doesn't do it for me. If anyone has cut a coil, how does it sound (any clinkidy clanks), and does it stay seated well??? Thanks!!!

Jason

i got a set of intrax springs with 1 coil cutt off both the front since the back ones tend to sag. they ride fine, no noises or anything like that.

Anybody do it to the progress springs?? Do you cut a coil off the top or bottom?

im gonna cut half a coil off just the front maxspeed springs to even out the gap..im pretty sure u cut the top. for your progress springs, cutting a whole coil may give you problems cause the spring gets alot shorter..ive heard stories of the spring popping out everytime u raise your car to change oil, rotate tires or jump a cliff. good luck..tell us how things turn out..you'll prolly need camber kit for sure.
