How deep are they?? Are they down to the primer metal or just clear coat??

 

If they are light scratches, you can use Meguiars Scratch X available at you're local parts store. People on this board have used it with good results.
I just helped out a friend today take out a dozen plus scratches, using compound (applied by hand). Then, used an orbital buffer with some meguiars cleaner wax. Works very well, but will dull you're paint if not done correctly. Use an old beater car 1st to practice, if you're going to try this method.
