i dont know why not. i dont think it gets "full" of sound.
or maybe it works like a sponge and gets saturated.
i got it - squeeze it and all the sound will come out and then you can reuse it. (picture that one) god i crack myself up :-)

Don't buy peel-n-seal, its a cheap alternative but, it smells bad.

It smells like tar for a day or 2 but then it goes away. This stuff is awesome and comes in rolls (6" x 20'?) for like $14. It gave my trunk the dampening it needed.

How long have you had it?

Peal & Seal Trunk
1) Remove trunk clips to take out liner. Use a felt tip marker to mark the holes where the clips / screws go back in. Use a different symbol for push in clips (ie: "0") and screw in (ie: "+").
2) Clean the whole trunk with rubbing alcohol and clean cloth. Then wipe it down with a water damp cloth and let dry.
3) Figure out the length and shape of the section you are doing before you take of the paper that exposes the adheasive backing.
4) Heat up the section of sheet metal with a heat gun (this was more important when I did it in the winter).
5) Stick down the Peal & Seal and heat the stuff up until it gets nice and tacky (it might even liquify) and mash it to the sheet metal and get it into all the nooks & crannies. But I can't stress this enough - WEAR WORK GLOVES!!!!
By doing this you will be redirecting all those lost sound waves into the cabin (and at your rear deck). If you though your rear deck rattled bad before, it will really suck now. I got a foam mattress pad (aka: egg crates) and cut it to size and shoved it under (about $10 at Wal*Mart or K-Mart (a twin size will do). This combo solved about 95% of the rattling inside the car. Total cost was about $50. Lowes carried the Peal & Seal, Home Depot in LI did not.
The trunk smelled for about a day or 2 but it went away. That is, unless I stink

Good luck!
*edit* - ps: There is NO WAY IN HELL you are going to reuse this stuff...or get it off for that matter. Once the heat gun gets done with it it is pretty much part of the car.
