Hey dudes! How do i convert weight in to HP? Is there any calculator. How many pounds of weight reduction = to the gain of 1HP?

 

Not a single reply. I guess i am not the only one who does not know the answer

 

My friends know it. Whenever I talk to him next I"ll post it.

Use this:

Original Weight/255HP = 12.72 (Approx)

So take your percentage weight decrease (Original Weight - Reduction)/Original Weight * 100% = percentage decrease in weight and use this equation:

(1 - Percentage weight decrease) * Weight/HP (12.72) = New weight/New HP

So for an increase in 1 HP you would have to reduce the weight by whatever the power to weight ratio is: Initially 12.72lbs for 1HP increase but as you take weight off your power to weight ratio will decrease, thus more HP for a smaller weight reduction.
