Rubber lining for home depot grille

Does anyone know where I can get that rubber material like the kind Grille-Tech uses on their grilles? I want to make a grill for myself but don't want to scratch the new paint.

Try the "fender trim" that people buy at PepBoys. They are sold in rolls...so you can cover the sharp edges...after you cut the metal grille.

go find some rubber hose, small in diameter and splice down one side and slip it on the mesh.
